HAL-RAR procedure with the flexibility of wireless technology
TRILOGY is a reusable Bluetooth-enabled, pulsed Doppler, ultrasound system for detection and surgical treatment of hemorrhoidal disease. Intended to:
- Be used for detecting hemorrhoidal arteries
- Manually ligate these arteries (HAL) and
- Carry out a mucopexy of hemorrhoidal tissue prolapse (RAR)
Functioning principles of TRILOGY
Doppler ultrasonic technology
- The Wi-3 HAL-RAR Unit is equipped with a light source to provide a clear view of hemorrhoidal tissue.
- The hemorrhoidal arteries are located using Doppler ultrasonic technology.
- An electrical signal is generated, which is transmitted to the attached probe and back.
Signal for precise detection of hemorrhoidal arteries
- The Wi-3 HAL-RAR unit is equipped with a new probe after each procedure (use of the Wi-3 HAL-RAR unit is limited to 50 applications). Each probe is equipped with an ultrasonic sensor.
- This signal is applied to the rectal area and reflected by solid particles in circulating arterial blood.
- The signal is transmitted to the Wi-3 HAL-RAR Unit and can be heard with the TRIOLGY speaker.
